What’s next?
Have you picked the right Editing type for you and your manuscript? Great, that’s the first step, but what’s next. I know going into a new process can be intimidating so here is the general outline of the steps of my process beginning to end. Step one; Pre-contract
- Get in touch to start a dialogue and let me know which Service you are interested in. I will share an information sheet that outlines everything you need to know about the Service.
- Complete and return a Client Questionnaire to tell me about you, your project and your goals.
- I will share a quote for the work and my availability for the project or meeting.
- If you accept the quote, I will send you the contract to E-sign.
Step two – Admin
- Once the quote and dates are confirmed, I will send you the contract to E-sign. This will outline the project, the terms of us working together and other details to protect us both.
- Once you have signed, I will send an invoice for the deposit and request your manuscript.
- Only once all three have been completed (you have signed the contract, shared your manuscript and paid the invoice), I will sign the contract and confirm the booking in my calendar.
Step three; The project
- The project will be completed in the agreed upon timeline in line with the Service you have chosen.
- Once I have finished, I will send an invoice for the rest of the work.
- Once paid, I will share the applicable work with you. (Please note this is not applicable to a Book Coaching session which are paid for upfront and the meeting is the output. No further feedback will be shared).
- 2-3 weeks after this, I will reach out to check in and potentially ask for feedback but feel free to Get in touch if you’d like any further Editing Services.
